Embarking on one of the best gulets of Turkey, we will cruise along the famous turquoise waters of the Lycian coastline, one of the oldest sailing routes. The small ancient harbor sites of Lycia, which we will visit during daily excursions, will give you a full impression of this unique land and its people. Our cruises are called “active sail” enjoy hiking and sailing the Lycian Coast.

Day 1 / Flight Day

Day 2 / Istanbul / Gocek (Gulet)
Arrival in Istanbul and connection flight to Dalaman. Arrive Dalaman meet with your guide and transfer to Gocek to embark on the gulet, a traditional Turkish wooden-hulled boat. Cruise to Gocek Island to anchor for the night. (D)

Day 3 / Gocek Bays (Gulet)
Cruise along Gocek’s beautiful bays and coves, enjoying nature at its best. Overnight at Agalimani, one of the most beautiful bays on the Turkish Mediterranean coast, or Hamam where you can see an ancient sunken church and the ruins of Cleopatra’s sunken baths. Today we will have the magnificent hike from  Hamam to the ancient city of Lydae and down to Aga Limani to meet with our boat. (B/L/D)

Day 4 / Kayakoy / Gemiler Island (Gulet)
Cruise to Sarnic Bay. Today we will hike to the abandoned Greek mountain village of Kayakoy. The recent book called “Birds Without Wings” tell the story of this village. Return to Gemiler Island and hike to the ruins of Gemiler Island, which is also known as St. Nicholaos Island. Anchor for the night. (B/L/D)

Day 5 / Xanthos – Patara / Kalkan (Gulet)
Early morning cruise to Kalkan, a lovely, small coastal village. Stop for breakfast on the way to Firnaz. Drive to Xanthos, an ancient capital of Lycia, then Patara, where St. Nicholas was born. Relax and enjoy the beautiful beach. Optional hike to Delikkemer, the piece of aquaduct of Patara. Overnight Firnaz bay. (B/L/D)

Day 6 / Kas (Gulet)
Today we will cruise to Kas, ancient Antiphellos. Visit the town of Kas in the afternoon. Overnight Kas marina or nearby bay of Bayindir. (B/L/D)

Day 7 / Aperlai – Simena / Kekova (Gulet)
Cruise to Aperlae for snorkeling over the sunken city. We will walk to the ruins of Aperlai and take the Lycian Hike to meet our boat. Continue to Kekova Bay. Visit the Lycian necropolis at Theimiussa and ancient Simena, overlooking the bay and situated below the ramparts of a Roman castle which houses a small theatre cut into rocks. We will hike from Simena to Gokkaya, another beautiful part of the Lycian Trail. Overnight in Kekova Bay. (B/L/D)

Day 8 / Kekova – Myra (Gulet)
Cruise along Kekova Island and see the sunken city as well as the ruins on the island. Continue to Cayagzi, the ancient city of Andriake. Disembark and drive to Myra, where outstanding examples of Lycian funeral architecture can be seen. Visit the church of St. Nicholas, who was once bishop of Myra. Overnight at Karaloz Bay. (B/L/D)

Day 9 / Arykanda / Antalya
Cruise to Finike and disembark in the morning. Drive to Arykanda, the great Lycian city located in the mountains. Lunch at a lovely mountain trout farm. Drive to the hotel in Antalya for farewell dinner. Overnight Antalya Tuvana or Kaucuk Hotel. (B/L/D)

Day 10 / Departure Day
Transfer to airport for return flight back home. (B)
