Laminate - Veneer
Veneers are wafer-thin and translucent ceramic shells that are attached to the tooth surface by the dentist. Laminate veneers are basically used to correct tooth discoloration, tooth gaps, misaligned teeth, tooth extensions and chipped teeth. With this procedure, the tooth is treated in a minimally invasive way and is therefore a particularly gentle option. The material used for this is the most aesthetic, biocompatible and most similar to the natural tooth. Crowns and bridges
Crowns and bridges are used in patients whose initial situation does not allow treatment with laminate veneers. A distinction is made between metal ceramic crowns (VMK) and full ceramic crowns (zirconium, lithium disilicate glass ceramic). Each material used has its own physical and chemical properties and indication. Depending on the application, an individual treatment must be determined. Therefore, it is advisable to consider the recommendation of your dentist.
