Visit Mustafa Pasa Village and savor an organic lunch in a local home in Ayvali Village. In the afternoon, take a leisurely stroll through Love Valley, one of Cappadocia’s most incredible and awe-inspiring canyons. The valley earned its name from the mesmerizing enchanted chimney rock formation and is a popular spot for romantic proposals. As you explore the valley, you’ll be surrounded by stunning natural beauty and unique rock formations that provide unforgettable photo opportunities.

Day 3 Ancient Underground Cities and Turkish Art
On our final day together, we’ll start with an intriguing morning exploration of either Kaymakli or Derinkuyu underground cities. These remarkable cities were inhabited from the 7th to 10th centuries when Christian Cappadocians were under attack from Arab invaders. The sites were only discovered in the 1950s and offer a wealth of information about life during that time. At midday, we’ll visit a rug-weaving cooperative where we’ll learn about this traditional Turkish art and craft. You’ll have the opportunity to bargain with local rug sellers, with or without the assistance of our guide. In the early afternoon, we’ll transfer to the airport for your onward journey, whether it’s a flight to Istanbul or an extended exploration.

My first trip with Runner Tourism was a part of small group; a twelve-day gullet cruise with a land extension to Cappadocia. For my second trip they put together a ten-day private tour to Eastern Turkey. This was hands-down the best trip of my life. I’ve done a number of guided vacations, and Cemil has been the best of the guides.
We loved the whole trip; one of the most rewarding we have ever taken. Everything ran as planned and exceeded expectations. Somehow we managed to be in the right place at the right time. The mostly boutique hotels were terrific and the food was wonderful. Thank you for an unforgettable experience!
